I am Letizia Cavallaro, born in a town on the slopes of Etna, where the breath of the volcano joins that of the inhabitants who live in its territory. “A muntagna” and the sea are my reference, the family my strength. Out of love I chose to live in the beating heart of Sicily, allowing myself to be enveloped by its scents, its light and its wild soul. Quest’ magical island nourishes me every day with inspiration and color.

As an expert in lava stone processing and ceramization, I have created tiles, tables, and design objects, but the intuition to give this natural material a completely new look stems from the desire to experiment and learn about new techniques such as gem cutting and goldsmithing. The magnetism of fire, the light of silver, and the propensity for handmade work: The union of these three elements has sparked in me the desire to create true fine jewelry.

The choice to undertake manual work is no accident. The art of know-how is a dowry inherited from his grandfather, a sculptor, his mother, a ceramist, and his aunt, a painter.

I studied and worked for several years in Valenza in the jewelry sector, but it is in Sicily that, together with my partner, we open our workshop. A space where ideas come to life and materialize through collections and personalized pieces that reflect my creativity and my way of seeing the world.

Since 2016, the Letizia Cavallaro brand has been creating jewelry featuring a special ingredient that makes it enchanting and inimitable.
The beauty of lava stone is enhanced by the 100% Made in Sicily craftsmanship of expert hands who carefully dedicate themselves to the creation of thin slabs with irregular or geometric shapes, which, glazed, painted and baked at high temperatures, are set in 925 silver frames.

The flamingo variopinto, represents the brand’s lucky charm.
A symbol of balance and grace is the metaphor of a change: when born, this bird has white plumage speckled with gray which, as it develops, feeds on crustaceans, transforms into its characteristic pink color.
Thus, lava stone, originally grey, with its enamels and paint is also transformed into a kaleidoscope of colours.
