Lava stone used to manufacture these jewels comes from quarries located in Etna slope, originated from eruption of 1669.
It is worked with old techniques of gem cutting and transformed in thin and soft sheets.
Then it is glazed to lend it various coloration range while emphasizing its beauty, hand painted and baked in pottery kilns at temperatures as high as 1000°.
Small imperfections reveal the craftsmanship, making every piece a unique creations.
